How can Pakistan still make it to World Cup semi-final?

With New Zealand's astounding five-wicket victory over Sri Lanka at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, India, Pakistan's chances of making it to the World Cup semi-final are virtually impossible.

The Kiwis jumped to the fourth spot after their Thursday win — bagging 10 points and a net run rate of 0.743. Pakistan, on the other hand, are at eight points with a net run rate of 0.036.

Pakistan need to beat England by about 288 runs to overcome New Zealand's net run rate.
