PM Raja to attend Balochistan cabinet meeting in Gwadar

QUETTA: A meeting of the Balochistan cabinet scheduled on November 9 at Gwadar will be attened by Prime Minister raja Pervez Ashraf.

According to a statement issued by the Balochistan government on Friday, Chief Minister Aslam Raisani has convened a meeting of the provincial cabinet on November 9 at Gwadar; PM will attend the meeting especially and meet with the cabinet members.

Earlier, CM Raisani had advised Balochistan assembly Speaker Aslam Bhootani to summon the provincial assembly’s session on November 9 and 10 at Gwadar but he refused.

Aslam Bhootani said in his refusal note that after the interim order of the Supreme Court in the Balochistan law and order case, calling a meeting of the assembly was tantamount to contempt of the court.
