24 more victims step forward in Kasur video scandal
KASUR: 24 more families have stepped forward to register their cases against victimization in a massive child abuse and extortion scandal in Hussain Khawala village of Punjab's Kasur district.

Investigations into the scandal, termed the biggest in the country's history, reveal that around 400 videos were made of 280 victims by an organised gang of over 25 criminals in Hussain Khanwala village.

Amid mounting calls for justice from protesting families, media and civil society, 24 more families have now decided to register their cases against victimization by the organised gang.

According to our correspondent in Kasur, members of the affected families have written down the names of 24 victims and drafted their complaints, which they are likely to file with the police later today.

The families say that a lawyer is scheduled to visit them at 3:00PM after which they will formally submit the complaints to the police station.

Seven more suspects sent on remand

Meanwhile, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore has given seven more suspects to police on a 27-day physical remand.

Fourteen suspects have been arrested in the massive child sex abuse scandal thus far. Five of them were given to police on physical remand on Tuesday.
