The outgoing year proved to be the wedding year for the Pakistani cricketers as quite a few players from the national squad got married in 2023.

As left-handed batter Imam-ul-Haq gears up for his big day, Pakistani bowling all-rounder Faheem Ashraf is also having his wedding festivities in full swing.

The 29-year-old cricketer's mehndi took place in his hometown Phool Nagar, in Punjab's district Kasur last night. The event was attended by Faheem's friends and family.

The pace star is reportedly getting married on the same date as Imam, i.e. Saturday (November 25). Both the cricketers will have their valima ceremonies on November 26, in separate events and venues.

Faheem's wedding will be in Narowal while the valima reception will be held in his hometown, Phool Nagar.

The cricketer got engaged, his Islamabad United teammate and close friend Hassan Ali revealed in August.

The left-hander has played 16 Tests, 34 ODIs and 48 T20Is over the course of his career for Pakistan. He made his T20I and ODI debut in 2017, while his first appearance in the Test format came in 2018.

The two grooms-to-be will be playing the upcoming Test series against Australia and are expected to join the squad in Lahore on November 30, just before their departure.

However, they have been allowed to skip the entire training camp for the three-match away series, starting tomorrow (November 22) till November 28 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Geo Super reported.

It must be noted that Pakistan T20 skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi, pacer Haris Rauf, spinner Shadab Khan and Test skipper Shan Masood also got hitched earlier this year.
