KASUR: Though the massive child sex scandal dates back to 2006, the scam began to unravel after a volleyball match in the village of Hussain Khan Wala before eventfully hitting the headlines in June.
Geo News learned on Wednesday that Haseem Amir, key suspect of the scandal, handed his cell phone to Amir Farooq during a volleyball match. Upon finding the terrible content on the cell phone, Farooq managed to sneak from the venue of the match and downloaded the videos of child abuse on his computer.
The suspect, somehow, came to know about Farooq being in possession of the videos and threatened him to discard the videos.
Farooq’s refusal to dispose of the videos led to a brawl between the two men during which the key suspect went on to hurl threats of murder.
It was another scuffle between Haseem Amir and his uncle Saleem Sherazi with one Mubin Ghaznavi when the story took another turn before emerging on local media.
According to Geo News, Ghaznavi, who was tortured by Haseem and his uncle, was planning a revenge on his opponents when he learnt that Amir Farooq was in possession of the videos.
The factor of enmity with Hassim Amir eventually brought Amir Farooq and Mubin Ghaznavi closer in the small village of Hussain Khan Wala and the videos ended up in the hands of police.
