Police arrest 20 suspects,seize 20 bikes

ISLAMABAD: Police on Sunday arrested 20 suspects and impounded 25 motorbikes during special checking within the remits of Sabzi Mandi Police Stations, a police spokesman said.

According to details, special checking was conducted in the
Sabzi Mandi area on the special directions of SSP Islamabad Yaseen
Farooq.

SP Khuram Rahseed constituted special teams under supervision of DSP Ashraf Shah and SHO Abid Ikram and special vigilance was maintained.

During the checking, 20 suspects were arrested and 25
motorbikes were impounded.

The IGP Bani Amin has said that purpose of starting search exercise in various areas is to ensure foolproof security in the Capital.

He has also directed all police stations to maintain special vigilance
and conduct time to time checking to curb crime.

Bani Amin Khan has directed all police officials to enhance
patrolling in their respective areas and use all resources in this
regard to curb activities of anti-social elements.
