In a seismic decision by the Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday, Donald Trump was barred from the state's 2024 presidential primary ballot, invoking the 14th Amendment due to his alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021, insurrection.

Reacting to this development, Mary Trump, the former president's niece, delivered a succinct yet impactful message.

Posting a picture of a dozen small ketchup bottles with the caption, "In loving memory," Mary Trump alluded to a reported incident in December 2020.

Testifying before the January 6 committee, Cassidy Hutchinson, a former top White House aide, claimed that Trump, upon hearing Attorney General Bill Barr's statement on election fraud, flung his lunch at a wall, leaving ketchup cascading down.

This cheeky reference brought attention to Trump's purported culinary outburst and served as a visual commentary on his potential reaction to the Colorado ballot ruling.

Hutchinson, in a prior appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," shared anecdotes about Trump's preference for small Heinz glass ketchup bottles, attributing it to a "potent fear of being poisoned" and an affinity for the satisfying "pop" sound upon opening.

Despite the setback, Trump's campaign is appealing the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to the US Supreme Court. Mary Trump's lighthearted yet pointed post adds a touch of humour to the unfolding legal drama surrounding her uncle's political aspirations.
