KARACHI: Mobile phone services have been restored in Karachi and Quetta after they had been shut at 1:00 PM on Friday citing terror threats.
This is the fourth time that services have been suspended this year. The government had also suspended mobile services on Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasool (PBUH) and first Muharram.
As per the cellular services suspension plan, mobile phone services would remain cut from 6 am to 11 pm on 9th and 10th of Muharram.
