The police said a child was also among the dead.They said identities of the deceased were yet to be ascertained. The bodies have been shifted to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The incident occurred as security has been put on high alert in the city with a ban on pillion riding and suspension of cellular services. However, mobile phone services were restored in the evening.
