Republican presidential forerunner and former US President Donald Trump expressed his confidence in the people of New Hampshire and disregarded his only opponent Nikki Haley as the state is undergoing a GOP vote for November 2024 polls.
Donald Trump while speaking to journalists at Londonderry said that he does not about Nikki Haley. "Let her do whatever she wants, it doesn't matter," he added while responding to a question about the former UN Ambassador to the US Haley about staying into Super Tuesday.
During his surprise visit, he also went on heavy-handed on the incumbent President Joe Biden. The 77-year-old said: "I think that Biden is the worst president in the history of this country.”
“But we’re gonna all comeback. They’re all coming back. And I think you see that here," the four-time-indicted said.
Donald Trump also underscored his support in New Hampshire saying that the people "are going to all vote for me again."
According to the polls, the four-time-indicted former president has been on the top as a Republican candidate for the presidency as Ron DeSantis announced days earlier that he is ceasing his bid for the White House.
The only opposition that remains is the 52-year-old Haley.
Amid the New Hampshire Republican voting, Trump is confident to push Haley out of the race. In the last weeks' Iowa caucuses, Trump secured a landslide victory.
The former UN Ambassador said she would be persistent in securing the Republican nomination no matter what the results are. She has been focusing her campaign in New Hampshire.
Her team said that it will not be a "Trump coronation".
Separately, the Democrat primary is also taking place Tuesday, but the party has been split as Joe Biden is not on the ballots, rendering the results, unrecognised.
