KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari left on Monday for Seoul on a 3-day state visit of Republic of Korea during which he will hold talks with his counterpart Lee Myung-ak.
During the visit‚ President Asif Ali Zardari will discuss with his Korean counterpart the bilateral ties between the two countries. The two leaders will discuss ways to significantly enhance their bilateral trade.
President Zardari‚ who is accompanied by a business delegation‚ will discuss ways to boost trade‚ investment‚ infrastructure-building and development during the talks with the Korean entrepreneurs.
The two countries will also ink an agreement and two memorandums of understanding in different areas. President Zardari‚ who has meetings scheduled with heads of over a dozen top South Korean companies‚ will urge the business community to invest in Pakistan‚ particularly in its energy sector.
