Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Malik Sohail Khan has won from the NA0-50 Attock 2 constituency in Pakistan’s general elections, bagging 119,075 votes.
Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saad Rizvi, PML-N's Khan, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-backed Eman Waseem, and Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) Amjad Ali Khan are contesting from the NA-50 constituency.
The NA 50 constituency — previously NA-56 Attock-II — comprises Jand Tehsil, Pindi Gheb Tehsil, Fateh Jhang Tehsil, Hisar, Kot Sondaki, and Pathar Garh.
In 2018, PTI’s Tahir Sadiq won the election with 163,325 votes from this constituency, while PML-N’s Malik Sohail Khan came second with 99,404 votes.
The constituency, following the latest delimitation, has a total population of more than 1.4 million, out of which 708,151 are voters. Among them, 363,116 are men while 345,035 are women.
