Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) top leader Attaullah Tarar clinched victory in the NA-127 Lahore 11 constituency against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari by clinching 98,210 votes.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokhar, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Attaullah Tarar, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) Matloob Ahmad, and Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s (JI) Syed Ihsan Ullah Waqas are contesting the polls.
The NA-127 constituency — erstwhile NA-133 Lahore-XI — comprises Model Town Tehsil’s Charge No 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, Charge No 16’s Circle No 1, 2, 3, 4, Charge No 9 of Walton Cantonment’s Circle No 1, 2, 3, 6.
In 2018, PML-N’s Muhammad Pervaiz Malik won the polls with 89678 votes, while PTI’s Ejaz Ahmed Choudhry came second.
The constituency has a total of 972,875 population, of which 527,044 are registered voters. Out of them, 273,014 are male and 254,030 are women.
