Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Mian Muhammad Azhar defeated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Hafiz Nauman by bagging 103,718 votes in NA-129 Lahore-13 constituency.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Mian Muhammad Azhar, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Hafiz Nauman, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Aurangzeb Shaafi Burki, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) Bilal Liaqat contested the elections.
The NA-129 constituency — formerly NA-126 Lahore IV — comprises City Tehsil’s Charge No 37, 38, 39, 51, 52, 53. 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 66, and 67.
In 2018, PTI’s Hammad Azhar won from the constituency with 105,734 votes, while PML-N’s Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed came in second.
The constituency has a total of 907,779 population, out of which 528,414 are registered voters. Of them, 276,659 are men and 251,755 are women.
