Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Anjum Aqeel Khan defeated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Aamir Masood Mughal in the NA-46 ICT-I constituency.
The PML-N candidate got 81,958 votes while the PTI-backed contestant secured 44317 votes.

The NA-46 constituency — formerly NA-52 ICT-I — comprises of Census Charge No 3, 4, 5, 11, 13 and 14.
In the 2018 elections, PPP Sajid Hussain Turi won by securing 21,461 votes followed by PTI Syed Iqbal Mian who managed to bag 16,938 votes.
The constituency's population stands at 782,562 with 350,581 registered voters — of whom 183,925 and 166,656 are male and female voters, respectively.
