No Kalabagh dam without approval of the people of Sindh: Nawaz

RAIWIND: PML-N President Nawaz Shairf said Wednesday that the construction of the Kalabagh Dam was not possible without the consent of the people of Sindh.

Speaking to the media after meeting with political representatives of Sindh, the PML-N president said the construction of the Kalabagh Dam would not be in the interest of the country if there was no consensus amongst the provinces.

Nawaz rejected the new local government law in Sindh stating that this was an attempt to separate the province. Speaking on the situation in Karachi, the PML-N President said the Supreme Court had named those parties which had militant wings and asked what action the government had taken against them.

He added that government was doing injustice with the country and there was illegal occupation of land in Karachi. Nawaz was also critical of the PML-Q saying that the party’s politics were beyond comprehension.
