ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Khursheed Shah said Monday that the tenure of the assemblies would not be extended and the present government will complete its term in March 2013.
Speaking to the media, Shah added that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would announce the date for the elections.
He added that there would be a surprise in the set-up of the interim government which would even be supported by opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
According to Shah, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address a rally on December 27 and will also lead the PPP during the next general elections.
