Want to expand relations with France: President Zardari

PARIS: President Asif Ali Zardari met his French counterpart Francois Hollande to discuss bilateral ties and international issues of mutual concern.

President Zardari and Hollande also exchanged views on enhancing bilateral cooperation in energy, trade and other sectors. The security situation in Pakistan with an emphasis on Afghanistan was also discussed.

Following the meeting, President Zardari spoke to reporters alongside Hollande and said that Pakistan wanted to expanded relations with France and both countries would support each other on global issues.
