Multan: Landlords who set dogs on farmer finally arrested
MULTAN: The vicious landlords, whose ferocious dogs mauled a tenant farmer to a painful death (later in a hospital here), were apprehended on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

Mohammad Hanif, a resident of Shujabad, died in Multan’s Nishtar Hospital after fighting for his life for ten days since the dog-bite wounds became too infected to treat.

The initial postmortem report revealed that Hanif succumbed to sepsis (infection of blood) following the hound-bites.

Earlier, Allah Bux with his son Asif, local landlords, subjected Hanif to barbaric torture over farmland tenancy dispute and went as far as setting feral dogs on him, which sank their canines in his flesh all over his body over and over again.

Though a case was lodged against the barbaric landlords but Shujabad police took about three days to bring them in.
