ESCO presents humorous Mushayera, fund raising dinner

DALLAS: The America based Education Social Cultural organization (ESCO) has been providing education health and other basic facilities to the poor people in the backward areas of India and Pakistan.

Under the auspicious of this organization a fund raising dinner was arranged in a local hotel of Irving city.

One of the programs included holding of humorous Mushayera. The guest of honor of this function was the popular poet of India Ghous Mohiuddin Ahmad alias Khamakhah Hyderabadi. He stole the show with his poetry which was highly appreciated.

The local poets also took part in this mushayera which included Nadir Durrani, Tariq Hashmi,Dr. Amir Suleman, Noor Amrohvi, Masood Qazi , Saeed Qureshi and Shah Alam Siddiqui.

The stage secretary was Noor Amrohvi.

On this occasion, Khamakhah Hyderabadi highlighted the sufferings and daily events through his poetry that was highly applauded by the audience.

However, when he presented his serious poetry, it left deep impact on the audience. On this occasion, while thanking the audience for his warm welcome he made certain interested comments that " My purpose is to make you laugh but If I cannot do that what can you do to me".(laughter).

He said that after reading MY SERIOUS POETRY YOU WILL COME TO YOUR SENSES. He recited his poetry for a long time and amused the audience.

On this occasion the Chief Organizer of the program Syed Azhar Hussain, Azhar Pasha, and Ishaq Ahmad were admired for their efforts and arranging this evening.

The people give generous donations on this occasion for ESCO. Huge number of men and women participated in the program. There was special arrangement for the baby sitting. The humorous mushayera continued till late night and the audience were tremendously amuse.
