Kansas City Chiefs' star Patrick Mahomes' younger brother Jackson was recently sentenced to six months of unsupervised probation after he pleaded no contest to a simple battery charge, CNN reported citing court records.
Following the sentence, Jackson's attorney, Brandan Davies, said: "Jackson is thankful for the support of his family and friends during the last year. Jackson pled no contest to a single count of simple battery and he was given six months of unsupervised probation.
"Jackson simply wanted the case to be over with and to move on with his life, the matter is now closed and we will not be issuing any further statements."
The 23-year-old internet personality was arrested in May last year and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery and one of battery by the Johnson County District Attorney’s Office.
According to court records, prosecutors ended up dropping the three counts of aggravated sexual battery in January.
Jackson's brother, Patrick, who is the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, has won the Super Bowl twice and the league's MVP position twice in six years.
Jackson's sentence comes around a month after his father, Patrick Mahomes Sr, was arrested in Texas under suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
