Former United States president Donald Trump was spotted by attendees at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 299 in Miami, Florida on Saturday ahead of the Sean O'Malley-Marlon Vera main event, Daily Mail reported.

The only Republican presidential candidate appeared cage-side with UFC President Dana White hours after giving a speech to a crowd of supporters at his presidential rally in Rome, Georgia.

The venue echoed with applause as Trump strolled in during the undercard before Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera went head-to-head.

Trump, 77, was also joined by his eldest daughter and former White House adviser Ivanka Trump, 42, who has stayed away from her father's 2024 presidential campaign.

White, 54, is a staunch supporter of Trump who once got into an argument with a sponsor over a social media post about the former president.

"I'm not going to take a bigger offer if it's not something that I am aligned with and I don't 100 percent believe in," White once said while discussing his feud with the sponsor.

White's affection for Trump has only increased since then, as evidenced by the Republican's multiple appearances at UFC events in recent months.

Speaking in the north-western city of Rome, Trump hammered his "grossly incompetent" opponent, Joe Biden, for "the most divisive, partisan and radical speech ever delivered by a president in that chamber".

"Joe Biden should not be shouting angrily at America," he argued. "America should be shouting angrily at Joe Biden."

He also lambasted Biden for backtracking on comments during the State of the Union in which he referred to the suspect as "an illegal".

Biden expressed regret in an MSNBC interview that he didn't use Democrats' preferred term, "undocumented", during an exchange with top Trump ally Marjorie Taylor Greene, who rallied with Trump on Saturday.
