Over the weekend, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy tied the knot with his fiancée Jenna Brandt in Des Moines, Iowa around a month after his team lost the Super Bowl LVIII to Kansas City Chiefs.

Last year, in July, the couple announced their engagement and finally said their “I dos” on Saturday “with upwards of 350 guests,” according to TMZ.

While his bride graced the ceremony in a strapless gown and an updo for her choice of hairstyle, the 24-year-old second-year quarterback stunned guests in a black tux, the New York Post reported.

Purdy, a final pick in the 2022 National Football League (NFL) Draft, became known as "Mr Irrelevant".

He threw for 255 yards and one touchdown in the 25-22 loss during the 2024 Super Bowl. However, in a heartfelt post on Instagram, Brandt reminded him that there was much to be “thankful for.”

"What a season to be proud & thankful for," Brandt posted on Instagram.

Purdy met Brandt at Iowa State University, before she transferred to the University of Northern Iowa where she played volleyball.

Last year, Purdy led the 49ers to a National Football Conference (NFC)Championship in January, but was forced to exit the game as a result of an elbow injury in a 31-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

In 2023, he also retained the starting job, leading San Francisco to the Super Bowl.

"Won together and lost together. Did it with my boys. Keep the Faith," Purdy posted on Instagram last week, to which Brandt replied, "What a year. Love you my boy."
