President Joe Biden and Donald Trump have already bargained, even though Illinois’s primary on Tuesday will not result into the Democratic and Republican presidential nominations.

The two White House contenders are said to have been directly and indirectly boosted by the Illinois money.

The Chicago Sun-Times and WBEZ provided the analysis of the money from Illinois, which was pumped into the race for the White House. They did this analysis on the basis of the data from the Federal Election Commission.

The FF PAC, founded by Future Forward USA Action, is the main super PAC supporting Biden's candidature. Four Chicagoan contributors, including Fred Eychaner, the chairman and president of the Alphawood Foundation and the top executive of Newsweb Corp, are involved in the campaign.

Eychaner is known as an arts advocate and a major philanthropist, and has been a mega-contributor to Democratic causes for years.

Eychaner gave $2 million to FF PAC in November and Biden awarded him a National Medal of Arts in March 2023, stating during the event: “Supporting the arts is a calling. For decades, he’s been a top patron of dance companies, art museums, historic preservation — especially in his beloved Chicago.”

Monetary contributors have choices when they want to assist a presidential candidate. They can either send the money to a super PAC supporting the bid or contribute directly to the campaign committee of a candidate.
