As former president Donald Trump has been criticising the border policy under the Joe Biden administration with hundreds of immigrants coming into the US from the southern border, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla Elon Musk also joined the fray with "a warning".
The billionaire while responding to a post on X — formerly called Twitter — remarked that the US is "doomed".
Elon Musk wrote in a response to a video: "There is either a red wave this November or America is doomed,” adding that “imagine four more years of this getting worse …"
The comments from the 52-year-old- mogul hint at his support for Donald Trump as the former president has also been voicing his anger over immigration.
"Why does the radical far-left Biden administration welcome violent illegals into America to prey upon your friends [and] family?" Musk wrote on X last week mentioning a post from a journalist.
"We are even warned by other countries that it is insane to make America a haven for their convicted criminals!" Musk added.
South African-born Musk also noted: "I say as an immigrant who is proud to have become a citizen and who supports vastly expanded *legal* immigration."
The billionaire also replied to a comment referring to violent crime in the US saying: "American cities have become dangerous and dirty with drug needles lying on the sidewalk. They had to call out the National Guard just so that people could ride the subway in New York, but nonetheless yesterday a guy was shot in the head with his own gun!”
