FAISALABAD: Indian High Commissioner (HC) to Pakistan Sharat Sabharwal has said that both the countries should have to move forward for their own interests after leaving untoward incidents that happened in past.
Addressing the industrialists at Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce, he said that enhancement of trade would be in favour of both the countries.
Sharat Sabharwal said that implementation of new Indo-Pak visa regime has begun, adding that India would minus 1200 items of negative list for trade to 100 in one year while Pakistan would do the same in 5 years.
He said that Pakistan could get gas soon from 100 km long pipeline via Wagah border, while India has also lifted its reservations regarding European Union aid to Pakistan for rehabilitation of flood-hit areas.
Regarding Pakistan-India cricket, the Indian HC said that the international cricket between the both countries should be restored and the host country would provide full security to Pakistani cricket team during the upcoming series.
