United States President Joe Biden, in a fundraiser rally mocked the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and senator Ted Cruz, calling both "loser".

Biden, 81, made fun of the 77-year-old Trump's debt and how he is unable to raise money, Daily Mail reported.

Addressing the rally on Wednesday, he shared that his campaign was able to raise $53 million in the month of February, while Trump's campaign reported that they raised $10.9 million in February.

During the Dallas fundraiser, which was the first of two Texan fundraisers, Biden announced that he had collected $2.5million for his re-election campaign.

Talking about candidates, he urged donors to support Colin Allred against Cruz.

He said: "You've got to elect Colin as your next senator, so Ted Cruz joins another loser, Donald Trump."

Furthermore, he mocked the former president in front of a crowd of about 100 people for his "crushing debt."

"Just the other day this defeated looking man came up to me and said: 'Mr. President I need your help. I’m in crushing debt. I’m completely wiped out.'"

Sharing how he responded to his rival, Biden said, "Donald, I’m sorry. I can’t help you," prompting laughter from the crowd.

He also joked about his age, saying "I'm 41," adding "it’s about the age of our ideals."

The president also blasted his opponent, for trouble at the border, in relation to the Texan immigration law, that allows state police to arrest and deport anyone they suspect of entering into the country illegally.

He said, "Trump didn’t just bring chaos to Americans. He also brought chaos to the American border."
