Lahore CCPO receives Hilal-e-Imtiaz in recognition of services

Under Kamyana’s command, ratio of crimes in Lahore witnessed 12% drop during the last five months

Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Bilal Siddique Kamyana has been given the second-highest civilian award, Hilal-e-Imtiaz, in recognition of his public service on the occasion of Pakistan Day on Saturday.

Under Kamyana’s command, ratio of crimes in Lahore witnessed a 12% drop during the last five months and major development took place in the arrest of suspects due to his positive approach.

The award was conferred upon the Lahore CCPO by President Asif Ali Zardari at a Pakistan Day ceremony held at President House earlier today. 

Kamyana belongs to the 24th Common Police Service and has served as Faisalabad and Sheikhupura regions’ regional police officer (RPO), Rawalpindi central police officer (CPO), district police office (DPO) Sialkot, Narowal, Okara, deputy inspector general (DIG), senior superintendent of police (SSP) Counter Terrorism Department and other key posts.

Moreover, he also has the experience of working as superintendent of police (SP) operations and other investigation and security wings.

He has resolved to fight crime while serving as the CCPO. Besides progress in the improvement system, he also ensured well-being of the families of various martyrs.
