The shooting of season three of Euphoria is delayed. Reports suggest the issue is related to the script as creator Sam Levinson wants to enhance it further.
The announcement comes on the heels of the reports the filming of the much-anticipated show is set to begin.
But HBO stated the shooting will be put on ice—temporarily and the cast is free to pursue other projects for the time being.
"HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season. In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities,” the network announced.
Behind the official announcement, sources knowledgeable about the matter revealed the inside story.
These moles squealed to The Wrap the makers of the hit show facing script issues.
It stemmed from the big-time jump in the forthcoming season leading HBO to give more space to Sam to shape the story well.
HBO "wanted to give [Levinson] more time to break the story, because there’s a lot more back and forth now that the show is changing in this way,” the tipster tattled.
