Shakira’s new album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran is reportedly an odyssey of growth and resilience.

As fans will know, Shakira has just released her first album in seven years.

In this album, a reported recurring theme is her messy split with herlong time partner Gerard Pique, the former Spanish footballer.

Talking about this album, the Dare crooner sat down for an interview on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Shakira observed in this chat that Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran translates as "Women no longer cry" in English.

She also claimed in the chat, “For too long we have been sent to cry with a script in our hands and without an end just because we are women,” adding, “We have to conceal our pain in front of our kids, in front of society."

After that she declared, “It's men's turn now."

"We have to heal in a certain way. And I don't think anyone is supposed to tell us how to heal.”

“No one is supposed to tell a She-wolf how to lick her wounds," the 47-year-old concluded.
