Rihanna sets to take a major step that involves her kids

Rihanna wants to hair-braid her sons as soon as possible as the pop icon explained the importance of the practice to their growth.

During an interview with Vogue, the Diamond hitmaker opened up about the personal benefits of hair braiding which includes a boost of personal confidence and creative liberties.

The mother-of-two said, “This is a form of protection by our ancestors...[it] makes us realize where we've come from.”

She continued, "This is our lost history. I immediately wanted my children to have their hair braided it's something in our blood."

Elsewhere in the interview, RiRi said, “[Children] come into the world with their own individuality and sincerity, without any logic or conformity, which usually makes you feel that you must fit into a certain group.“

Noting, "It’s really beautiful to see and I want to continue to help them navigate that and make sure that they know they can be whoever they want to be.”  

In the meantime, the two sons of Rihanna with A$AP Rocky include RZA, 22 months, and Riot, 7 months.
