Willie Nelson current endeavors: from 'The Border' to collab with Beyonce

Willie Nelson is one of the most prolific artists in the genre of country music. He has recorded over a hundred different albums which consists of 74 solo albums.

The 90-year-old singer collaborated with none other than Beyonce, who released her first-ever, country music inspired album, titled, Cowboy Carter.

In the project, launched on March 29, 2024, the one-minute long, official audio tilted SMOKE HOUR WILLIE NELSON, features an interlude by the Stardust hit-maker.

The What A Wonderful World crooner recently appeared for a live performance of the song, Rainbow Connection, with the infamous Kermit the frog on March 14, 2024, at the Luck Reunion.

On the same day of his performance, Nelson took to his official Instagram account to announce his upcoming album, titled, The Border.

“New Album, #TheBorder, will be available on May 31! This album will include 10 newly recorded Willie Nelson studio performances including four new Willie & Buddy Cannon compositions…” he captioned, the now-pinned, post.

Willie Nelson released the album’s title track on his YouTube page as well which received appreciation from the Academy of Country Music, a day after its release.
