Gene Hackman, Betsy Arakawa make rare public appearance: Photo

Gene Hackman was just spotted in a rare public appearance, as he went on a dinner date in New Mexico on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

According to Yahoo Entertainment, the 94-year-old actor was seen using a cane to walk and holding the arm of his wife, Betsy Arakawa.

Reportedly, the couple had their date night at Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen in Santa Fe, the place where the legendary actor has lived since the 1980s.

The outlet also reported that earlier that same day, Hackman, who celebrated his birthday in January this year, was also seen grabbing a cup of coffee and an apple pie from a local Speedway store.

Although the Unforgiven star and the 62-year-old pianist, Arakawa, got married to each other back in 1991, the couple hardly hard launches their relationship with public appearances.

Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa were last photographed by the paparazzi, 21 years ago, however, it was a much more glamorous setting, the red carpet of the 2003 Golden Globe Awards.
