Taylor Swift becomes darling of 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards

The night of star-studded 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards was dominated by Taylor Swift as she bagged six gongs, including Artist of the Year.

Despite her absence from the glitzy show, the Carolina hitmaker's presence was starkly felt at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

After winning a series of prizes which included Tour of the Year, TikTok Bop of the Year, Best Lyrics, and Favourite Tour Style in the fan-voted award show on Monday—the Grammy winner credited her legion of fans, Swifties, for supporting her work and excitingly attended her concerts.

"I want to say thank you so much to anyone who voted for this award," she began in a pre-recorded message. "IHeart, you have just been so incredibly supportive over the course of my entire career."

The 34-year-old continued, "Especially this year has been pretty spectacular. I'm so grateful for that. To the fans, it's completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack to your life."

Adding, "To anyone who has included me in those choices, I'm so, so, so thankful for that. You know, we have so many exciting things ahead of us."
