Jennifer Lopez 'devastated' after facing new set back?

Jennifer Lopez is reportedly upset over her self-financed project.

Recently, an insider close to the multihyphenate revealed to In Touch Weekly that the wife of Ben Affleck was really upset when her new album, which was self-financed by the artist, did not become a hit.

The insider also told, "J. Lo’s devastated the album, her first in nearly a decade, did so poorly. She’s never experienced this kind of failure. It’s humiliating."

As fans will know, Get On The Floor crooner's album This is Me….. Now "debuted at No. 38 and quickly dropped off of the Billboard 200 Chart soon after its release" on 16th February 2024. 

Analysing the reason behind this failure, publicist Rob Shuter also spilled the beans on the matter by remarking that her fans are not interested in "Bennifer anymore," and she needs to try something new. 

He told The New York Post, "Jennifer’s always been a marketing and PR genius but her biggest miscalculation here is that she thinks the world is still interested in Ben and Jennifer’s love story," and resigned from the chat.
