Olivia Rodrigo channels inner emotions at iHeartRadio Awards

Nominated for seven categories, Olivia Rodrigo managed to clinch the Pop Album of the Year Award for her hit album GUTS.

In her acceptance speech, the Grammy winner let her inner emotions be the driving force in thanking the fans for the laurel bestowed upon her.

"Hey iHeart, thank you so much for giving me this award. I am so appreciative, and I am very proud of GUTS and I am so happy that so many of you guys are resonating with it the way I do," the young artist said in a recorded message because she was away on her sophomore album tour.

She addressed her absence from the ceremony in words, “I am so bummed that I can't be there with you guys to celebrate, but I am there in spirit and I am so grateful.”

In the meantime, GUTS was rolled out last September and went on to dominate the charts of multiple countries.
