Anya Taylor Joy makes marriage with Malcolm McRae official

Anya Taylor-Joy finally confirmed her marriage with Malcolm McRae and revealed that they secretly tied the knot two years ago.

The 27-year-old actress took to her Instagram and wished Malcom a happy anniversary by sharing pictures from their nuptials ceremony in New Orleans i.e. six months after the couple held an Italian wedding in Venice.

“Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans. The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever. Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest,” Anna penned.

She further added, “N.B yes, those are anatomically correct heart cakes. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat.”

According to Daily Mail, the Queen’s Gambit star Anya is wearing a wedding gown from Dior, in the pictures, which was embroidered with birds.

One of the pictures also showed Cara Delevingne sitting beside her.

While Anya has never spoken much about her relationship with Malcolm, she has previously told British Vogue how she likes to think of him as “her hobby.”

“I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby. I see reading as something that I have to do. He loved it because he’s the same. I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading. We’re basically 80 years old and seven at the same time and it works really well,” she told the outlet in March 2022.
