Arnold Schwarzenegger explains what makes diet better

Arnold Schwarzenegger is no stranger to bodybuilding and its basic pillar diet. After ruling the roost for many years, the megastar is, now, sharing his expertise with the new generation.

In the latest newsletter Pump Club, the Terminator star guided the aspiring bodybuilders that “extreme restrictions” in diets will do more harm than good.

“You’re taught there are good foods and bad foods. And that adding flexibility means sacrificing results,” he writes.

“In reality, diets built around extreme restrictions increase stress, anxiety, and cravings. And that can cause so many good intentions to fail.”

Citing a reliable study, Arnold pens, “That’s what the latest research on diet breaks suggests — you can enjoy and still achieve better health.”

“If you’re trying to start eating better, build a plan where it’s hard to fail.”

Arguing for flexibility in dieting, Arnold shares will help make the process of gaining or losing bearable.

“And that means adding in foods and flexibility that offer freedom so the entire process isn’t miserable.”

Adding, “Everyone wants to say that “it’s not a diet, it’s a lifestyle,” but rarely does anyone ask what you want your life to look like.”
