Kirsten Dunst weighs in on horrible kiss to Brad Pitt decades ago

Kirsten Dunst says the scene of kissing Brad Pitt in 1994’s Interview With The Vampire was “weird because he was like a big brother” at the time.

In a chat with The Telegraph, the Spider-Man actress opened up about the environment at the male-dominated film set as Tom Cruise, Christian Slater, Antonio Banderas, and the Fury star were her co-actors.

But, the Academy-nominated said she was “treated like a princess. Yes, it was a virtually all-male set, but everyone was very gentle and kind, and nothing ever felt weird. Brad was like an older brother to me.”

But, the on-screen peck she shared with the Oscar winner, Kirsten says, was uncomfortable, to say the least.

In a throwback interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 41-year-old said, ‘I hated [the kiss] so much because Brad was like my older brother on set and it's kind of like kissing your brother.”

Kirsten was eleven at the time while Brad was 31 years old.

“It's weird because he's an older guy and I had to kiss him on the lips, so it was gross,” she continued.
