A few weeks back, Google rolled out the Developer Preview of Android 15 and reports suggest that its stable version will be available to users in the third quarter of the ongoing year, SamMobile reported.
Experts are now exploring the new version of Android and finding out fresh features every other day. The latest one indicates that Android might not allow users to keep their Bluetooth turned off for long.
Citing Android Authority, SamMobile reported that several reports suggest that the feature — ‘Bluetooth Auto-On’ — can automatically turn on the option after some time.
If a user, who might be trying to save their battery, turns of the option, they will see a prompt: “Features like Quick Share, Find My Device, and device location use Bluetooth.”
Google has rolled out this option to boost the efficacy of its Find My Device network, which will be introduced in some days.
The option — which most probably relies on Bluetooth — will allow people to track their lost/stolen phones.
“In this network, Android devices ping nearby compatible devices via Bluetooth, creating a huge mesh network and allowing lost devices to be tracked. This is similar to how Samsung Find works on Galaxy devices.”
But if you’re worried that someone might be able to track you because the option is on, then you need not worry as the data is encrypted.
