Kristen Stewart seemingly did not like starring in The Twilight Saga.

Recently, the Love Lies Bleeding star marked her appearance on the SmartLess podcast, in which she weighed in on her infamous Twilight Saga gig.

She started the discussion by saying, “I have to say I felt like at the time that I could have redirected energy and become an academic.”

Kristen went on to address, “I was so hungry for more work because the Twilight series itself took forever."

Revealing the extended shooting time for the series of flicks, she commented, "We did it over a four-year period. We made five movies."

Reportedly, Kristen “wanted to make other movies at the same time so badly,” but instead she “just crashed and burned and barreled my way through those years and just was really lacked any balance.”

I was just working constantly,” she also remarked before moving to another topic.

Before this confession, Kristen also touched on the “oppressive” connotations of the series of five fantasy movies based on Stephanie Meyer’s novels.

“It’s all about oppression, about wanting what’s going to destroy you.” the actress remarked in an earlier chat with Variety.

“That’s a very Gothic, gay inclination that I love,” she confessed and concluded.
