Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher split triggered by Rebel Wilson's claim: REPORT

Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher announced shocking split after 14 years of marriage, amid swirling controversies surrounding Rebel Wilson’s memoir.

In the wake of Wilson’s allegation that the Borat star ‘sexually harassed’ her during the filming of their 2016 film The Brothers Grimsby, which Baron had vehemently denied, but now has announced splitting ways with wife of 14 years via Instagram.

The news shocked fans, inciting speculations if it had anything to do with the Pitch Perfect actress’ claims.

They have now been seemingly confirmed by a source close to the couple. According to The DailyMail, the couple was already on ‘shaky’ grounds since their relocation to Australia to be closer to Fisher’s parents.

However, while Baron would “make many sacrifices for her”, this move affected him and their relationship.

Ultimately, Rebel Rising’s shocking revelation acted as a “catalyst for Isla deciding to announce this [split] to the world”.

“She’s got her own career and reputation to worry about”, a source privy to The Sun shared.

It was also revealed that the allegations were starting to get ‘embarrassing’ for the Now You See Me star, who decided to split.

Now, the couple who share three children together have mutually decided to embark on separate paths although they still “remain incredibly close”.
