Ryan Gosling, Paul Rudd, Matt Damon and other celebrities crashed Kristen Wiig's monologue as she was hosting Saturday Night Live for her fifth time.

Kicking off her monologue she expressed how excited she was to host the show for the fifth time, officially landing a spot in the Five-Timers Club.

However, the studio audience soon witnessed a celebrity invasion wearing the Five-Timers jacket, despite none of them meeting the club’s requirement.

Starting with Rudd, popping from the audience asked if there was a special skit with ‘awesome celebrity cameos’, Wigg turned him down only to greet the show’s writer who broke the news that the jacket’s are distributed “like free maxi pads”.

Just as the Bridesmaids actor refuted the allegations, she was greeted by Damon also donning the jacket despite hosting the show only twice.

With her enthusiasm over joining the club fading away, the mother of two turned to the head honcho of the show, Michael Lorne to ask, “Doesn’t this jacket have any meaning anymore?”, only to see him surrounded by other celebrities in the desired jacket.

Among them were Jon Hamm (hosted thrice) and Martin Short, Fred Armisen, Will Forte all of whom hosted the show once.

Upon asking why they were getting the jacket, they replied, “But together, we hosted five times”, as the Friends alum jumped in and exclaimed, “Ahh, sweet, so we are doing a five-timers sketch!”.

Eventually as the group serenades the disappointed Wiig, Gosling, visibly reluctant to wear the jacket, swoops in and offered the actress her ‘well-earned’ jacket eliciting a round of applause from the audience.
