Taylor Swift is being honoured by the broadcasting platform, Sirius XM, as they launch an entire channel as a nod to the artist, titled, Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version).
The official website of SiriusXM just posted 13 things you must know about their upcoming channel, apart from the fact that they honour Swift’s lucky number, 13.
They’ve calculated their channels line-up and have put Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version) on their 13th slot, which would be available on “both satellite and streaming.”
Channel 13 (Taylor’s Version) will play all of the Lover crooner’s songs however they would strictly be Taylor’s Version, fulfilling the fan-code Swift’s fan-base, known as Swifties, follow.
The songs would span from her Grammy winning albums, Fearless to Midnights, Speak Now to Red, folklore to evermore, which would include, live, vault and bonus tracks.
These songs would also be “interwoven with special fan messages” as per the website, with the aim of lifting “up the voices of Swifties in the form of personal, authentic recordings” from fans about the “power and importance of Taylor Swift.”
Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, The Tortured Poet’s Department would also be released on the channel’s 13th day, which surely gives proof of how well thought the launch of this channel was.
Channel 13 (Taylor's Version) would be available for a limited time period, that is, from April 7 to May 6, 2024.
