C.J. Snare, FireHouse rocker breathes his last at 64

C.J. Snare, the founding member and frontman of the hard rock/glam metal band, FireHouse, passed away at the age of 64.

According to PEOPLE magazine, the band took to their official Facebook page to upload a statement over the tragic loss of the artist.

“Today is a sad day for Rock N Roll,” the note which was posted on Sunday, April 7, 2024, read.

It continued, “It is with great sorrow we are letting the world know we have lost our brother: CJ Snare, the rock and roll warrior, lead vocalist, and a founding member of Firehouse.”

“As you are all aware, CJ was expected to be back on stage with the band this summer after recovering from surgery. We are all in complete shock with CJ's untimely passing,” the tribute stated as they referred to Snare’s last Instagram post.

Making a reference at their 1992 song, Reach For The Sky, the band concluded, “‘Reach for the Sky’ CJ!”

C.J. Snare died of a cardiac arrest after his long-term battle with cancer, according to the rock star’s daughter, Heather, who reported this to TMZ
