As people around the world are anticipating much-awaited Total Solar Eclipse 2024, the life partner of the renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez has given a life update to her followers about how she is enjoying the celestial event.

The solar eclipse is just hours away in North America and will plunge millions of dwellers in the consistent in the dark. Those in the path of totality can witness complete darkness for a brief time.

Cristiano Ronaldo accompanied by his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and children, moved to Saudi Arabia as the Portuguese striker signed two a two-and-a-half-year contract with the football club Al Nassr early last year.

In an Instagram post released Monday, the 30-year-old Spanish influencer Rodriguez uploaded several pictures giving updates on how she spent her solar eclipse.

She wrote on social media in Spanish: "This is how I lived the solar eclipse ."

Per Nasa, US space agency, the eclipse occurs when three things are lined up either fully or partially — the Sun, the Moon, and Earth.

It added that depending on how they align, the eclipse provides a unique view of either the Sun or Moon.

“A solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, casting a shadow on Earth that either fully or partially blocks the Sun’s light in some areas.”
