Moana 2 is a much-awaited project of Disney and Dwayne Johnson just knows when to enter CinemaCon 2024 to further hype up the film: during a performance of Polynesian dancers.

At the event in Las Vegas, The Rock gave a sneak peek into the upcoming project where he is returning to voice his character Maui.

Talking about the fantasy role, the DC hero said, it was inspired by his grandfather as it “has been one of the most life-changing experiences for me.”

Later, the wrestler-cum-actor showed the exclusive footage of the sequel to the fans.

On the stage, he was honoured with the Spirit of the Industry Prize by The National Association of Theatre Owners members.

In the meantime, the official synopsis of the film reads, “Three years since her first voyage, Moana is on an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui.”

“Joined by Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”
