‘Deadpool & Wolverine' director Shawn Levy breaks silence on Taylor Swift casting rumor

Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy recently played coy when asked if Taylor Swift plays Dazzler in the upcoming highly anticipated movie.

Attending CinemaCon on Thursday, Levy said: “That is hardly confirmed nor denied in this interview.”

“I'm going to literally walk out of the frame and save myself, otherwise Ryan's taking a hit [out] on me,” he added to Entertainment Tonight.

Rumors of Taylor’s appearance in the movie were strengthened when Levy was seen attending the October 1 NFL game with her. The film’s lead stars Hugh Jackman, 55, and Ryan Reynolds, 47, also joined them, along with Sophie Turner.

At the time, Taylor’s romance with NFL hunk Travis Kelce was fresh and the Lavender Haze hitmaker attended most of his games throughout the season. Many of her pals, including Blake Lively, Cara Delevingne, Sophie Turner, Ice Spice, Ashley Avignone, Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry attended the games with her.

“All that's known is that I went to a football game, and those hours were well-documented and that's all I'm gonna say,” Levy added. “What can I say? I think intrigue is fun.”
