Jesse Eisenberg teased an exciting update in the fan-favourite magical franchise in the latest interview.
At the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Eisenberg appeared to promote his no-dialogue upcoming movie Sasquatch Sunday and dropped some massive news on the beloved crime thriller franchise.
Upon asking if after two “giant blockbusters” would there be a third installment, the Academy Award-nominated actor enthused, “Yeah, it’s happening”.
“The world has been asking for it and you know, we said yes”, he added before confirming that the production will begin in “Two months”.
“It’s wonderful”, Eisenberg added.
The speculations that first started when The Social Network actor conversed with Collider and revealed that he had “read the script”, for the upcoming installment and mentioned that “it’s really great”.
Revealing that the team has been calling the movie “Now You 3 Me”, he confirmed reprising his role of Daniel Atlas along with Dave Franco's Jack Wilder, Woody Harrelson's Merritt McKinney, and Lizzy Caplan's Lula.
Other than that, Mark Ruffalo's Dylan Rhodes, Morgan Freeman's Thaddeus Bradley and Michael Caine's Arthur Tressler will also be joining the stellar cast.
However, one more update that incited excitement among the audience is the return of Isla Fisher's Henley Reeves, allowing the original Four Horsemen to take the stage.
“It's like the, you know, most incredible group of people. The movies are so much fun”, the New York native said of the illusion-influenced heist films.
