Paul McCartney and The Eagles took to stage and paid tribute to late Jimmy Buffet.

Recently, a concert named Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett was attended by a large number of Jimmy’s pals and several celebrated artists to honour the late artist.

During this event, The Eagles and Paul McCartney teamed up to perform Let it Be, The Beatles’ classic track, in the loving memory of the late musician.

As per well placed sources, The Beatles co-founder also took a moment to recall a holiday that he shared with Jimmy during his performance.

Paul started the anecdote by saying, “I had the great pleasure of knowing Jimmy," after which he revealed that once he had forgotten his guitar so Jimmy got a guitar custom-made for him.

He also added about his late pal, “And like everyone else on the bill tonight has said, this is one great man," and concluded the topic.

For the unfamiliar, the two musicians shared a really close bond, but Jimmy passed away on 1st September 2023 as he lost his life's battle to lymphoma following skin cancer diagnosis.
